I Love Media Ltd accept all advertisements on the understanding that any descriptions relating to goods or services do not in anyway contravene the provisions of the Trade Descriptions Act 1968. The advertiser will indemnify I Love Media Ltd and its suppliers against damage they may sustain in consequence of publication of the announcement. Copy and Artwork deadline is three weeks prior to publication. In event of artwork or copy not being supplied on time, I Love Media Ltd reserve the right to repeat any previous advertisement or offer the space to another advertiser.

Artwork origination is free of charge. Should I Love Media Ltd provide more than four pdf proofs, further alterations will be subject to charge at a rate of £30 per additional proof.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In signing the advertisement order the customer offers to place one or more advertisements with I Love Media Ltd for a specific book directory, online directory or SmartPhone app (hereinafter called ‘The Company’) on the terms and conditions herein stated, such offer being accepted by The Company subject as is hereinafter set out, when a copy of the said signed advertisement order is received by The Company (online, by post or in person). The Company reserves the right to refuse to insert any advertisement which it considers unsuitable for publication and shall not be liable for failure of an advertisement to appear for any causes whatsoever. No responsibility can be accepted for damage to, or loss of artwork or other advertising material. No guarantee can be given that advertisements will not face business competitors. (Wherever possible the advertiser will be informed prior to publication).

Advertisement rates are subject to immediate revision at any time and orders are accepted on condition that the price binds The Company only in respect to the next issue to go to press.

In the event of a rate increase, the advertiser or agent will have the option of cancelling the order or of continuing at the revised advertisement rate.

Printed and Online Directory:

Books are released quarterly with seasonal content and are available for distribution over a three month period. The online directory offers six month agreements with the opportunity to extend the listing period following the initial six month agreement. The online directory provides advertisers with useful statistics and analytics that can be accessed via a unique login. The Company is not responsible for the content online, all links, contact details and company information are provided by the advertiser. The Company can under no circumstances be responsible for users comments or reviews, but where appropriate will monitor user comments and remove any that are deemed to be unsuitable or detrimental to The Company or its Advertisers business.

Payment

All prices stated are exclusive of VAT, therefore, VAT will be applied at the prevailing rate.

The Advertiser will pay for on placing an order, unless credit terms have been agreed. The Advertiser will be sent an invoice unless they have pre-paid (or a direct debit arrangement is in place), in which case they will only be sent an invoice if requested.

If credit terms are agreed by The Company, payment is due seven days from the date of invoice, unless the Advertiser applies for, and is granted a monthly account.

A query on an item on an invoice issued by Us will not affect the time at which You are liable to pay the rest of that or any other invoice issued by Us.

If You do not pay a sum due to Us by the due date, all sums due by You to Us become payable on the due date for the sum not paid and We may suspend further advertising for You and charge You compensation and interest according to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

Refund policy:

Due to the automatic nature of our billing system and the allocation of a percentage of transaction fees to charitable community support programs, I Love Media Limited maintain a no-refund policy for advertising, sponsorship, or listing contracts. Advertisers are bound to the terms and costs as defined in their sales contract. If an Advertiser cancels an advert prior to the expiration of the contract term or directory print run, the Advertiser must pay the balance of the contract in full as well as any applicable early cancellation fees. No cash or monetary refunds may be issued for any reason.

Cancellation:

Should the Advertiser wish to cancel, The Company requires a formal written cancellation, by post or email, no later than 14 days following the date of payment.

Cancellation of online directory listings is required in writing and can be dealt with within 7 days of receiving the cancellation. No refunds will be given for any short fall in the agreement period.

Advertisements:

Artwork

The Company retains copyright (and any other intellectual property rights) in all its artwork, copy and other materials in any Advertisement (even if combined with any of the Advertisers copyright materials). In addition, the Advertiser agrees that The Company own the copyright in the typographical arrangement of all Advertisements. No copy in any form will be returned unless agreed in writing by The Company at the time of placing the Order.

The Company will not be liable for accidental loss or damage to an Advertisers copy, including artwork and photographs, in any format. Accordingly, The Company's liability for non-accidental damage to copy will be limited to the value of the medium in which they are embodied.

Errors, omissions or inaccuracies in Advertisements

The Company will not be liable for:

Where The Company acknowledge an error (including but not limited to spelling and text errors) misprint, inaccuracy or omission The Company will, at its choice, either publish the corrected Advertisement, or depending upon how payment was made issue the Advertiser a credit note or refund its credit/debit card, to a value not exceeding the price of the Advertisement and this will be the limit of The Company's liability in respect of the error, misprint, inaccuracy or omission.

Repeated advertisements will appear exactly as they have been published. The Company is not responsible for updating any information to align with more recent advertisements. Where design instructions have been specified, these will be followed and any change to these instructions will incur origination costs of £35. Where artwork is required, a proof will be provided for approval and signing. Note, this is not a colour proof. Artwork origination is free of charge. Should The Company provide more than four pdf proofs, further alterations will be subject to charge at a rate of £30 per additional proof.

Copy for advertisements must be provided digitally and must take into consideration the number of images also to fit in the required space. Copy deemed as excessive or unnecessary may be reduced by the Editor. Copy must clearly state all contact details to appear in the advertisement. Logo and image files must be provided digitally at 300dpi as either TIFF/EPS/PDF/PSD/AI/JPEG files. All copy/logos/images for the advertisement must be provided at booking stage. Additional files sent after this will incur an origination charge of £35. For artwork purposes, a Pantone/Spot/CMYK reference must be provided to ensure any colour accuracy required. Without such references, colour matching cannot be guaranteed.
